New Robson Produced Album by Christine Tobin Coming! October Release & November London Launch Concert

Robson produced the album with Christine as co-producer, as well as recorded/mixed it, plus he plays a tiny bit on the recording. However, it is largely an electronic project which predominantly features Tobin's electronic soundscapes and compositions. Christine’s latest work was written for the Improvised Music Company’s BAN BAM Commission & Development Award and premiered at the New Music Dublin Festival at the Complex. The piece explores themes of disinformation, and the misappropriation of new technologies. The normalisation of barefaced lying and the rise of far-right ideologies. In the history of communication, we have never been so connected, yet we often find ourselves divided, mistrustful and weighed down by dark uncertainties. It is a multimedia, spoken word performance piece that includes live electronic FX, pre-recorded soundscapes & compositions by Tobin, sonic improv, hand percussion and a changing backdrop of striking images. 

Pseudologia Fantastica also features cellist Kate Shortt and marks a new direction in Christine’s work.
